Peewee CSDHL Prospects

Meramec Sharks are excited to announce we intend to field a team at the 12U PeeWee Central States Developmental Hockey League Prospects Level.  This team will compete at both the MoHockey A1 level as well as in the CSDHL league out of Chicago. Tryouts will take place in mid July. 

More communication will come out in the next month about ice, games, cost, etc.

• The CSDHL rule to play for Prospects is that you must tryout for your pod team (Eagles) and not make the roster. If you don't tryout or turn down the contract, you are not eligible for the Prospects teams.
• The Prospects team will play at the local A1 and CSDHL Prospects levels, about 40 games.
• If you do not want to play Prospects, the highest team available will be A2
• Team will be composed of 2013 and 2014 birth years on the same team.
• We expect there will be no ice touches lost for other teams to accommodate the new Prospects team.
• They will also have 2 touches throughout the week, and receive NEW “Sharks Prospects” jerseys and pants shells.
• We’re still awaiting final cost expectations, but we anticipate it being around $3,000 total in registration fees which covers everything but your travel (if the team elects to do tournaments, that will be handled within the team kitty as normal).

Tryouts will take place mid-July, but please note, players must also tryout for the Eagles prior to trying out for Prospects. This is a new rule from Central States that MHC has no control over. Players that do not tryout for Eagles can still play on the Prospects team for all practices and MO Hockey games, but would be ineligible for all Prospects league games.
